Our client, a well-established Corporate Services Provider, is seeking to employ a Corporate Officer to ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements for a portfolio of clients. As a Corporate Officer, you will be responsible for managing client portfolios, maintaining compliance, and facilitating various corporate processes. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of Maltese company law, excellent communication skills, and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ensure compliance with KYC procedures, due diligence checks, and client data entry.
- Maintain up-to-date due diligence documents for online payment institutions and bank accounts.
- Prepare and draft resolutions and statutory forms for corporate changes.
- Utilize the online MBR portal to set up new companies and submit necessary statutory forms and filings.
- Record and transcribe minutes of meetings as requested by clients.
- Prepare and submit Beneficial Owner documents upon incorporation and subsequent changes.
- Communicate and correspond with accountants, auditors, lawyers, and other service providers.
- Maintain and organize both cloud-based and physical filing systems for accurate retrieval of corporate records and documents.
- Comprehensive understanding of Maltese company law and the role of a Company Secretary is advantageous.
- Excellent written and verbal proficiency in English and Maltese languages.
- Proficient in using Office applications and computer literate.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks independently and demonstrate initiative.
- Meticulous attention to detail in all tasks and responsibilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to establish positive relationships with colleagues and clients at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and demonstrate a can-do attitude.
- Strong sense of urgency and commitment to delivering work to a high standard and meeting deadlines.
