Accounts Clerk

Our client in Gozo is currently seeking an experienced Accounts Clerk to join their team in the Accounting Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the accounting team in daily operations and ensuring the smooth running of the finance function.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately post sales and purchase invoices

• Prepare and process payment runs

• Record customer receipts and chase debtors

• Prepare cashbook entries and perform cash reconciliations periodically

• Prepare periodic supplier, bank, and intercompany reconciliations

• Assist in month-end procedures

• File documents

• Assist in the preparation of VAT returns & management accounts

• Compile reportings & monthly computations as requested by management


• In possession or in the process of obtaining an Advanced Diploma in Accounting/AAT or attained an A Level in Accounts.

• Candidates with no formal education but prior experience in a similar role will also be considered.

• Good communication skills in Maltese or English.

• Familiarity with MS Office Applications.
