Our client, a leading B2B Software Development company based in Malta, is seeking Backend Developers on a Mid or Senior level to join their team. The company provides a relocation package to candidates who are willing to move to Malta for the position. After a few months, there is a possibility of hybrid work, allowing for a mix of remote and office-based work.
Responsibilities:
Work as part of a team of backend developers on building and maintaining microservices using Kotlin and Spring Boot.
Build all parts of the platform through business logic, external APIs, admin APIs, integrations with external providers, and real-time integrations with other internal systems.
Participate in code reviewing, planning, and task estimation techniques.
Collaborate with engineers in the team to gather knowledge on business requirements and identify and improve processes and systems.
Integrate with third-party systems to allow for a larger amount of products on the platform.
Skills Required:
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience using Java development.
Minimum 1 year experience using Spring Framework.
SQL.
Basic GIT knowledge is mandatory.
Experience working in a Scrum team.
Excellent English language skills (both written and spoken) are required.
Other Skills:
Degree in Computer Science or similar qualifications.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability and willingness to acquire and adapt quickly to new skills and technologies.
Great problem-solving skills with an eye for detail.
