Junior Lawyer

Our client, a global Corporate Service Provider, is seeking a Junior Lawyer to join their growing Legal Department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with queries related to corporate matters

• Timely submission of any statutory filings and legal obligations

• Handle and assist in the formation, dissolution, and restructuring of legal structures

• Draft and review corporate governance documents

• Draft and review contracts in accordance with clients’ needs

• Conduct legal research in accordance with clients’ needs

• Liaise with various authorities and professional services firms to support clients in their operations

• Assist with documentation related to commercial transactions, including those related to the sale and acquisition of vessels and aircraft

• Advise on and administer crew and employment matters

• Provide support to the Legal Department as necessary

• Other related duties as required.

Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in Law

• Prior legal experience will be considered an asset, however, not required as full training will be provided

• Capable of working independently, as well as in a team

• High attention to detail, ability to meet tight deadlines and possess a pro-active approach

• Responsible to keep up-to-date with developments in local legislation and regulations including AML/CFT requirements.
