Senior Marketing Manager

Our client is currently seeking a Senior Marketing Manager to lead and oversee the Marketing Department in Malta. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the marketing efforts to support the company’s business strategy. The primary objectives of this role are to enhance revenue, expand market share, and contribute to the company’s growth and profitability.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare an annual business plan for sales in alignment with company objectives.
• Develop market campaigns in accordance with company standards and submit them for approval.
• Assign and monitor project targets for marketing team members.
• Ensure timely production and installation of marketing materials.
• Manage above-the-line (ATL) communication and media budgets.
• Guide the Trade Marketing Manager in developing effective marketing campaigns.
• Control the execution of media and marketing planners.
• Collaborate with the Head of Sales & Marketing to identify new market niches.
• Prepare a detailed marketing expenses budget and effectively manage Match Marketing Funds.
• Lead the Business Analyst in gathering and analyzing market data.
• Prepare a business plan for the company’s online strategy.
• Ensure all marketing materials are approved by respective Principles.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or any related area.
• 4 to 5 years of working experience, preferably within the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry.
• Proficiency in collaborating and managing multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to understand and prioritize business objectives.
• Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Maltese would be a plus.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
